Using a simple French-web stitch we will sew together a brand new text block to insert into our re-purposed covers. Paper and a selection of book covers will be provided, but participants are encouraged to scour thrift stores and bring in books with interesting covers to re-use. Also, participants are encouraged to bring in unique sheets of paper to use as text paper and endsheets. An array of
textures and papers makes for a truly unique notebook! All shapes and sizes of paper can be used regardless of the size of the cover. The notebook paper provided will be for book covers no larger than about 8″ x 6″–or the size of an average hardback novel.
